Magsteering have been around for some time and is often referred to as; Magsteering, magnetically steered” or “mag steer system.
The first magsteering system for hobby use was made by Faller, a German company presented their systen for the first time to the public in 1989 at the Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany. The Faller Car System is in scale 1/87 and is made for model railroads. Today this system is widely used by model train enthusiast all over the world.
In August, 2008. Wes Raynor from England, presented a prototype of a magentic steered car, racing on a test track. The car is radio controlled and controlled by a coil and magnets. Today his system is known as MAGracing and is patented. Visit the YouTube channel here
